CF. How did you get into cosplay, who did you portray first, and why?

I gained a huge interest in cosplay after my first con in 2011, so the year after I made my first cosplay. Crocodile from One Piece. He is my favorite villain from the anime series and I found him easy to do for a starting cosplay, even though it was basic in the end

CF. What’s the best part of cosplay?

Getting into costume and character and entertaining people. Just being that character is what thrills me about cosplay

CF. If you could be any super hero or villain who would you be and why?

Any hero or villain with telekinesis, I love that super power.

CF. If you could meet anyone in the world dead or alive who would it be and what would you say to them?

I always thought Billy Connoly. He’s one of my favorite comedians and I’d like to see him (meeting him would be great too) at least once before he dies. Like, he doesn’t have long if you think about it….don’t tell him I said that though

CF. What’s your favorite sci-fi movie and what captivates about the plot?

Well, I don’t have a favorite sci-fi movie. They are all so good

CF. What’s the craziest thing a fan set you or requested?

Probably the children who ask me (in my Joker cosplay) if I have killed Batman yet. And in a Mark Hamill voice I reply “no, of course not”. “why?” “hehe, because it’s fun”

CF. What sidekick would you hire to be your personal assistant and why?

Well, a Harley Quinn to my Joker would be amazing

CF. What character intimidates the heck out of you, why, and when will you attempt take the challenge to portray them?

Maybe Ganondorf. And I’m not sure when I’ll make a cosplay of him. I already have sketches of my own design for him, but I’ll be a while until I get to making it

CF. Do you know a lot about the series you cosplay?

Oh yeah. Not all of it, but a lot

CF. What’s your favorite comic con to attend and what makes it so special?

Supanova, Australia’s version of Comic Con. I’ve made so many friends there, fans of all genre’s.

CF. What comic con’s are definitely attending this year?

Supanova, SMASH, EB Expo, OzComicCon. And small events and charities throughout the year

CF. What’s one thing you wish fans wouldn’t do?

Bully. Theres a small bit of bullying in the cosplay community; elitism for example.

CF. Who was your favorite character to portray and what rocked about it?

Joker. Everything rocks about it

CF. How do you keep cosplay fun?

Stay in character, entertain people, surprise and wow them

CF. Where can new fans go to follow you on social media?

fans follow me via my facebook page P.S Cosplay, and alongside the pages of my cosplay friends when we do joined/group shoots. sometimes i’ll get mentioned in a local cosplay facebook page. so in short, just through facebook.

CF. Other than this interview, what’s the craziest thing you agreed to do?

Wax my chest, with homebrand strips. The worst part was when my bfs sister at the time stuck the strip on the nipple. So much ouch

CF. In your opinion what’s the meaning of life?

Well, Monty Python never really answered it, so I can’t, haha. But really, people should live their life the way they want, not what others want. Be happy about it.
